The most extraordinary hairstyles from Rihanna
Posted on August 1, 2012 by Kristina in Hair Styles
Over the past seven years of her career, we’ve seen Rihanna’s hair change from long and lovely, to the more edgy, unique hairstyles she’s know for today. For the 2012 Grammy’s, Rihanna sported a medium length, curly textured, blonde style with dark roots and short bangs. Although it can’t be described as the most beautiful style she’s ever worn, it is one of the most alluring.

In 2009 for her trip to Los Angeles, Rihanna wore an elaborate front poof known as a pompadour; imagine Gwen Stefani’s hair from the same year and multiply the volume times ten. One of Rihanna’s most interesting styles was an asymmetrical cut featuring shaved sides in black and longer length at the top and back in a honey blonde shade sweeping to the side.
During her 2010 red hair phase, Rihanna displayed a number of styles in multiple signature fire engine red hues that brought lots of attention from her fans. There was the reddish orange formal half updo style.

It was a look that would have been at home in the mid-1940s, featuring large victory rolls and subtle waves throughout the loose sections. Another style from this period was worn in two two different colors. Both were a medium length, ultra curly style that she wore in bright red and in a reddish burgundy color, although the bright red version featured bangs that were swept to the side and more waves than curls.
She also wore this red color in a long super straight style that nearly reached her stomach. She kept her red coloring for months, inspiring thousands of women and school girls to copy the various looks. Rihanna has literally worn hundreds of styles, far too many to name here, but each one is unique and extraordinary in it’s own way.
