Hair Color Ideas for Summer 2012
Posted on May 29, 2012 by Kristina in Hair Styles
For summer 2012, almost anything goes when it comes to hair color. There are so many different beautiful colors to select from, it is easy for anyone to get a whole new look, whether it is with a dramatic color or just a subtle change. While some of the hottest hair colors from last year, such as the ombre color effect, are still popular this year, many new hues have entered the scene.

One of my personal favorites is lightening up with a caramel colored shade. This beautiful color is easy for any woman to pull off and requires less maintenance than dying your hair blond. This is a gorgeous and fresh color that looks beautiful for the warmer months of summer. Those who would prefer to go blond are in luck, as light blond and platinum are hot colors to try this year. Afraid of being too dramatic?
Adding streaks of a paler hue to your darker locks is also fashionable.

I know that I love the look of dip dyed hair, and it is a very hot look this summer. Only the ends are colored in a contrasting shade, which can range from caramel to even bright and fun colors like pink or red. This is a super dramatic look that is guaranteed to turn heads. In my opinion, this effect looks amazing on hair that is tinted a darker hue, such as black or chocolate brown.
While we’re talking about hot, we can’t leave out the brilliant fire that red hair brings. From pale red to blazing auburn, shades of red are popping up everyone, even on some of the most popular celebrities. These colors look fabulous on women with any skin tone and are easy to maintain.

No matter what your style, there is a hair color that is right for you. Getting one of the fresh new colors that are hot for summer 2012 will help update your look and have you ready for the rising temperatures, making you look hotter than even the summer sun. ![]()
